The Wizard came for tea today, bringing along a new friend of theirs. I’m not surprised whenever the Wizard has someone unique for me to meet. What I didn’t know yet was that this Wizard (who I’ve been friends with for a very long time) had decided it was high time I had a familiar of my very own.
As you can imagine, I was a bit upended, (and also fairly excited to be honest), by this news. Could I actually have a familiar of my very own? What would that mean for my life? The Wizard explained to me the basics of caring for a familiar, and also how we could work together. The familiar and I gave each other the once over, and something apparently clicked for us both, because they live here now. We’re still getting to know each other and figuring out a few things, but it feels like the right thing to do now.
