Between the Rain and the Sun, New Growth

The original painting was made and sold in 2024. Here’s its story.

The rain and the sun work together to create the possibility for new growth to happen. Sometimes it seems like nothing much is growing, but it's all there. What's coming might be just below the surface, or so small that we don't yet acknowledge its existence, but it's on the way. The rain and the sun don't give up, showing up is what they do.

Sometimes there is too much rain and the seeds wash away, or the sun is too hot and the seedlings die, but eventually there will be new growth. The trick is to persevere, trust, and allow the growth to take place. The rain doesn't do it alone, neither does the sun.
