‘Light 4’ is from a series of 6 abstract paintings on paper. These paintings were originally created as 1 big painting, then cut apart into 6 individual pieces. Each was completed as its own work, with a unique emotional feeling and movement.
The ‘Light Series’ were inspired by the movement of light and shadow, and how the two need each other in order to exist. Neither is better, both are as necessary in art as they are in life.
