'Joy #8' is from a series of 12 paintings on paper. Each Joy painting is a reminder to myself that painting itself is an act of expressing my own joy, it's healing for me simply because it is.

This new series was inspired by an online painting workshop I took about finding joy through art making. I did, and am so grateful.

Acrylic and pencil on paper, 10.5" x 9.5", unframed. Each painting has a 1/2" wide white border.
